The Platform
A test is a moment. Intelligence is a trajectory.
Sentos BioMed is built in three layers — a product, a platform, and an intelligence layer — each one widening what measuring mCRP can do.
The three layers
Product → Platform → Intelligence
Product — the measurement.
The mCRP-ALISA™ kit: a specific, quantitative readout for the active form of CRP. This is where clinical and lab value begins.
Platform — the infrastructure.
One validated analyte, many formats and settings: microplate today; point-of-care and multiplex inflammatory panels in development. A consistent way to measure mCRP wherever inflammation is a question.
Intelligence — the trajectory.
With appropriate consent and governance, repeated mCRP measurements over time turn a single result into a longitudinal signal — the basis for monitoring inflammation, not just detecting it. This is the long-horizon vision of The Inflammation Intelligence Company.
The intelligence layer is a forward-looking vision dependent on data governance, regulatory approval, and clinical validation.
Pipeline
What's in development
| Programme | Description | Stage TODO: stages |
|---|---|---|
| mCRP-ALISA™ microplate | Core competitive assay for serum | Lead — in development |
| Point-of-care format | Simplified, near-patient configuration | Research / roadmap |
| Multiplex inflammatory panel | mCRP alongside complementary markers | Research / roadmap |
| Therapy-monitoring applications | mCRP trajectories to support treatment decisions | Exploratory research |
Defensibility
Five sources of durability
Written for partners and investors who ask what protects the position:
- 1
Analyte ownership — building the reference standard for measuring mCRP specifically.
- 2
Intellectual property — a patent-pending portfolio spanning the aptamer composition, the assay method, and the kit; provisional filed in India, with a defined international strategy. TODO: current filing status for public display
- 3
Clinical evidence — a growing, cohort-backed body of validation, led by the platform's founding research.
- 4
Manufacturing know-how — reproducible aptamer chemistry and coated-plate processes refined for scale.
- 5
Data-network effects — over time, longitudinal inflammation data compounds into an asset competitors can't easily replicate.
